Funny you ask this...I was thinking and looking this up yesterday! People online said yes, and others suggested the LV Totally b/c it has outside pockets to hold a bottle for example. It also zippers shut.

With a newborn, I think it's tough. I have the medium sized neverfull.
My DD is now 2 and I throw this

in it for short trips. I like the organizer posted above. That may make a big difference. But the lack of pockets is a challenge. And, I get nervous about the weight of the bag on the straps.

For just a little more than the price of the Neverfull, you can get the Gucci baby bag which is actually meant to hold all that stuff.  That's just my opinion.. I have the LV Neverfull and love it, btw... but I have no experience using it as a diaper bag.

I have gucci diaper bag and have used it through 2 kids. I'm ready to move on and get the neverfull. The diaper bad is awesome for a true diaper bag, but if you don't want a traditional one, the neverfull you can carry on your shoulder.

DH just bought me the Neverfull GM bc I need a diaper-type bag that doesn't look like one (I have a 24 month old). Bag works great for carrying around a couple diapers, wipes, cream, sippy, snacks, etc plus wallet and phone. Holds quite a bit.
