LV or Gucci bag for Valentine's day?

DH wants to buy me one for V-Day, but I do not know which one I want! Would you share which one you have with a pic if possible and why you love it? TIA!!!!

Gucci all the way. I know many don't agree with me but I have never been a big LV fan. They are classic but boring and kind of old lady bags to me.

LVs hold up much better thank Gucci's imo.. not that it's ever stopped me from buying one lol

I have to agree with the other posters. LV..it definitely holds up better than Gucci....

I have both, but my LVs I will have forever b/c my guccis are already starting to look a bit "shabby".

I have these three.

Gucci - I don't like the fact that I can't really carry it on my shoulder. The bag is OK, not my favorite. I got it 2 years ago and it has held up pretty well.

LV Speedy - also OK, again, annoying that you have to carry it. But obviously that's just a personal preference! I've had it for 5 years and it's held up great, although I don't use it too much anymore.

LV Neverfull GM - love it! Fits everything and I like that it doesn't have the brand name printed all over it. I like the look of the draw strings pulled in too - makes it a little smaller for the weekend and stuff. Just got this a few weeeks ago so I can't comment on how well it holds up, although I've heard only good things!

I love LV, but I also feel that everyone has one these days. I would go with Gucci.

I have a few of both. As PP said, LVs def hold up better. I would just search the websites and pick which bag was my overall fave

I think LV's tend to stand out more, not necessarily more people have them. I definitely think I see more people with Gucci bags.

I have the LV Cabas Mezzo and Papillon 25

I have the Gucci Boston bag

Love them both, but it depends on what you are going for. Do you want something less popular? Then go Gucci. If you want timeless, LV. I find LV is higher quality. Out of my three, the Gucci I have is my favorite.

Gucci fabric does not wear well if this is going to be an everyday bag.

The fabric starts to fray when it rubs against fabric

LV holds up amazingly if this is an everyday bag.
