I heart Mabel's Labels
I loathe Stuck on You.
JMO.
I write this because I must order more labels and I have tried both and am going with Mabel.

I agree and then I found out that the owner of Mabel's is a friend of a friend. (My friend is from Canada). I am very happy with Mabel's labels and I always find that I want to tell new moms, especially if they plan to do the daycare thing.

I have always used Mabels labels & they've been great. Once they sent me the wrong personalized labels (a nurse instead of a teacher & she apologized & sent the right ones & additional ones besides).

Ha ha -- I agree with the creepy Big Brother reference, but I too LOVE Mabels Labels.
I also had trouble with their iron ons, but love everything else. I had issues with their shoe labels, until I realized I wasn't using the clear round sticker to go over them!

I've only used Mabel's -
The dishwasher ones are holding up great -
Iron Ons are a disaster
Tag stick on thing are Ok

Not stupid. I use them to label things for daycare/school. I use backpack tags and labels for change of clothes, hat(s), mittens ,coats and lunchbags.

I agree. I tried 2 or 3 different settings on my iron, but still lost most of them eventually in the laundry.

Yup - I purchased a sampler pack use all the sticky labels (including the tag lablels and shoe labels!) for her bottles, bowls, spoons, etc ... I tried using the iron on ones for her bibs but gave up when most came off in the wash (I do not put her bibs in the dryer either). And the little dog tags are attached to her diaper bags.

I just wrote a whole response and it got deleted...blah...
In daycae you have to label EVERYTHING! Evrn the multiple parts of a ting--like if you have a bowl and a top, both parts get labels...socks, shirts, hats, jeans, bottles, sippys...EVERYHTING--even pacis!!
Anyway, I don't even know where my iron is, so I never tried Mabel's iron ons, I can't comment on that, but I feel that Stuck on You's "stickers" double as iron-ons and that is what they are really meant to be. I can't tell you how many Stuck on You labels I have found floating around in the washing machine!
To be fair, I find that both company's "shoe" labels work equally well.
