MAC people... lend me your ears

I just bought iLife '08 for my powerbook g4 (yes, my dinosaur)

I want to install it but I *just* restored my computer (wiped it all out) and haven't restored up my itunes library yet..

Should I restore itunes FIRST, and THEN installs iLife '08? Or can I restore my itunes library AFTER... (will it work, since the versions are so different?)

I don't think it should matter - if it were me, I'd install iLife, then just open iTunes - it should search your computer for all mp3 files

Re: MAC people... lend me your ears

since you just bought iLife you should have 30 days of apple support, no? I'd ask them.
Or, you can do what we did, and buy tech support for 30 days- it's like $50 which is annoying- but they are awesome over there

i know... any person i had to deal with at apple has been amazing.

When I dropped my powerbook and my entire SCREEN was black (looked like broken glass but digitally) the *genius* at the apple store tipped me off to a place that will repair your mac for 1/2 the cost that apple charges.

Do you have ilife '08? what are your thoughts?

No, I don't have it. I was thinking about getting it, but haven't. AT this point, don't know how much i'll be adding to the machine anyway- it's already about 4 1/2 years old (powerbook as well)
