Maclaren Triumph Stroller or other lightweight stroller
I need to get a lightweight stroller. Right now we only have the Graco Quattro which is an awesome stroller but very bulky and heavy - it takes up all of my trunk space. We are going on a 3 day vacation with Aly and it will be too annoying to lug around.
I dont have hundreds to spend on another stroller. I was looking at the Maclaren Triumph - its even on sale at BRU! Does anyone have this stroller? feedback?
or can you recommend another lightweight that isnt too pricey?
TIA!

I was just thinking about this - and I've decided to get the Graco Snap & Go. It's just the frame for the infant seat - lighter and smaller than the stroller, holds anyinfant car seat - I don't want to take her out of the car seat and put her in a stroller every time we get in & out of the car. It's $40 at BRU.

Re: Maclaren Triumph Stroller or other lightweight stroller
I absolutely LOVE my Triumph! We use it all the time. it stays in my trunk and barely takes up any room! It is so roomy for DS and is super easy to fold and unfold. It's also super light.
I don't have any other so I can't recommend anything else. I would only suggest spending the money on the Triumph if you are going to use it all the time. Not just for the 3 day vacation. There are plenty of less expensive ones. But if you are going to use it for a while, then I totally recommend the Triumph.

I have the Mac Quest and it's really nice, but it is expensive. Check out the Chicco C5 if you want something less expensive -- I've heard good things about it.

I have a Triumph and I love it. My son is 2, so we didn't need all of the comfort features of the Techno. This stroller is light and easy to fold. I can throw it into my truck with one hand! LOVE it!

Re: Maclaren Triumph Stroller or other lightweight stroller
There was just another poster asking about lightweight strollers, you may want to look through her answers also...
I have a Combi Cosmo stroller. I was in a similar boat as you- I got the Quatteo graco travel system also but the stroller was so big it didn't fit in my car's trunk (yeah I know bad planning!). So we use the Combi stroller for everyday travel.
I really like the Combi, I like that it's small and lightweight, and it has a carrying strap (my DH loved this the other day when he took DD on the train, he carried her, the stroller and the diaper bag at once!). It also reclines, which is good if she takes a nap, and it has a 5-point harnass. And it handles pretty well for a small stroller, it has a small basket underneath, but no tray other than a little tray on the side for a bottle.
The thing that I don't like it it's hard to adjust the recline, especially with the baby in it.
I thought it was a good compromise, not a huge stroller but not an umbrella stroller. It's also a little cheaper than the Triumph stroller.

Yes, the snap and go was great - - my DD is a year old now though so she is out of the infant carrier. thats why I need a lightweight stroller and not the snap ans go anymore...but thank you.

The Chicco Capri is very light weight and inexpensive. I paid $49.99 after a coupon at BRU.
