I know that Macy's gift cards do not expire, not sure about Sephora.

The Sephora one I'm not too worried about since I just got it for the holiday ... but the Macy's one I got last year.

I found a macys card that I'd forgotten about - when i tried to use it the cashier told me it had expired - I called to complain (it was $50) and they reissued it without a problem.
