Made the BEST homemade foot scrub today
I found the "recipe" randomly online and used my own measurements:
1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1-2 tbsp kosher or sea salt 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Those are all approximations, the only thing I actually measured was the brown sugar. I prefer a coarser, less "wet" scrub so you can totally adjust the measurements to your preferences.
I have the mixture in a tub now, I have a feeling it will last a while since I only needed a little bit for each foot. My feet have taken a beating lately, so bad that not even the PedEgg helped, and this made them really soft. After I rinsed I applied Vaseline and put socks on. I will try to do this every night especially now that summer is here!

Thanks! I will have to try this! I bought the Fresh Brown Sugar scrub once and it really disappointed! But I made my own with just sea salt and it was great, I bet the brown sugar will make it better.

Too add to your post. Sugar scrubs are for people with more sensitive skin.

Oh definitely. The scrub I made is probably too harsh for anywhere else but the feet because of the salt in it, if you want to make a body scrub I'd probably eliminate the salt altogether. The olive oil really did the trick though!
