Madonna Pre-natal
How many of you were recommended there? Do you go every week... in addition to your regular dr.?
Thanks! Melissa

Re: Madonna Pre-natal
I went to them, and it was in my doctors office so I went at the same time as my appointments, but didn't need to go every time i had an appointment though. I really liked the hig risk dr that I dealt with there as well as all of the sonographers.

They were in my Dr's office, but also had an office in Babylon and somewhere in Nassau, I can't remember the town though.

Re: Madonna Pre-natal
I go to the one in Mineola. I started going for high tech sono's there at 16 weeks. Now i go about 2-3 times a week (but more because my boys are identical). THey are all really nice at the Mineola office and really on top of everything. THey also have offices in Brooklyn and Queens.
Best advice i can give you is to make your appt early in the morning or be prepared to wait. The other day i waited almost 2 hours for a sonogram.
ETA - Your regular OB/GYN will tell you when you have to go and will prescribe the test. While i consult with those doctors my doctor is the one who makes the final decisions on everything.

I go to the one in Mineola also. Although the waits are long, they have always been very good at closely monitoring my boys' progress. I started going there after I got 5th disease but now I go about 3 times a week. I consult with Dr. MacKenzie there - he's terrific - and he is in close contact/communication with my regular OB.

Re: Madonna Pre-natal
Thanks again. Everyone has been very helpful. So you only go if your doctor recommends it?? Maybe I will ask my regular obgyn next time I go.

Re: Madonna Pre-natal
Our Dr has machines that are very old and he sent us to Madonna because their machines are so much stronger. We have gotten a 3 or 4 D each time we go. I go every 3 weeks.
