We have a very small kitchen & the magazines were constantly cluttering our table & counter. DH decided to try & make a place for the mags. We had a small piece of unused wall in our kitchen next to our sliding glass door. I think it looks cool.

My DH made it...Very simple & inexpensive ..I think he bought 1/2" wood dowel rods ($1.50 each) & #8 ceiling hooks. (a 3 pack for $0.97)
He cut the rods , put the hooks in the wall & voila... a Magazine Rack !!!
We spaced it so the magazines would tuck behind the one below it.
