mail for tenant
this is the first time a tenant (in our home) has changed her address to receive mail here. i would like to get some sort of box to put on her door to put her mail in daily but i dont know what to call it in google and im not coming up with any results!
i dont want the door mail slot. i want more of a small box (doesnt have to lock) to screw onto the door. she has a storm door and a regular door. the box would be put on the regular door. not sure where to get this!
can anyone help me out! links/pics appreciated. TIA

mail for tenant
You can either get a regular mail box for her door (but don't expect the mail man to put it seperate, you would have to split it and put it in there yourself) or just pull out your mail daily and leave hers in the main box. Or if she gets home first she would take hers out and leave your in there (this is what we did when we rented)
You can get a mail box at home depot, lowes, ace hardware.

Re: mail for tenant
When I lived in an apartment, I had a mail holder attached to my door and my LL would just separate the mail and put it in my holder. It was really cute and pretty cheap. You can probably get one at Walmart or Home Goods. Here are some I found by typing "wall mail holder" into Google.

Re: mail for tenant
What about a plastic box with lid like the RE agents use for listings right outside houses....here's one at Staples.
