Mail Question
OK, so you get a magazine in your mailbox that you know you dont subscribe to... but it looks good... but then you realize it belongs to your neighbor and it must have been delivered to you by mistake... do you:
return it to them right away
read it, then return it
just keep it (it isnt your fault the mailman messed up)
eta: what if it is all wrapped up in plastic?? does that change anything??

Re: Mail Question
If it was an open magazine, I'd read it that day & return it the next day. If was sealed, I'd return it that day & pick up my own copy.
You can't open a sealed magazine & return it if the label IS on the wrapping or you'd give yourself away.

Read it then return it...quickly though. If it wrapped in plastic I would return it right away.

Re: Mail Question
Heres a thought:
If it is wrapped, then chances are the address label was on the plastic wrap. If you remove the wrapping, then read it, then return it... Wont the neighbor wonder how you knew it belonged to them if there is no address label on the actual magazine?

Re: Mail Question
I would just return it and say what happened. It was an honest mistake. Ask them if you could borrow it to read it because you might be interested in a subscription.

That's what I was thinking!

Re: Mail Question
I would just put it in their mailbox without reading it. Not my mail; not mine to read.
