Maine in April
So My DH and I are debating whether or not we should go to Ogunquit, Maine towards the end of April. My DH has the week off and we are thinking about taking my DS for a few days. He will be 6.5 months. Do you think it will be too cold? Ogunquit is the very beginning of Maine so it doesn't get as cold as the northern part of Maine. The rates are great at this time so we can stay at a really nice hotel for a reasonable price.
Opinions, please

I know I absolutely love Maine too. I just checked the rates on two nice hotels in Ogunquit and the prices are fantastic. I don't think I could pass up the great deal.

Re: Maine in April
It will most likely be COLD! My parents live in Eastern Maine but even today in Portland, they are getting up to 9 inches of snow. Most of the time, the lakes do not unfreeze until around April 15-20th. You don't get "spring" like weather until around Mid May & even at that, you get low 60's at best. If you are going to travel to Maine, the best time is anything after June 20th up until Columbus Day Weekend. Otherwise, we prepared to deal with snow & cold temps.
I hope this helps
