Major Brain f arts! Please explain/help
since having DD almost 3 yrs ago...you forget A LOT!
So being twins, I get sonos frequently.
I get a NT scan next wk (13wks)
and then see them again at 16wks.
I dont remember giving blood and if I did it wasnt in office like this one will be.
I dont even remember what test that was and for what?
can you ladies refresh my memory and what to expect?

I think they call it mommy brain.  I had blood work done around the time of my NST ultrasound, that is the second part of the results. They are using the results from the blood work along w/ the sono to determine a final result. I just had the second set of blood work for that same test. They like to read the results of blood work again a second time at a later point in the pregnancy. They use the second set of results to help confirm the first. Does that make any sense? Sorry HTH.
eta: they didn't do the blood in my OB's office I had to go to a different office. They took several tubes out of my arm.

When I went for the NT scan at 12 weeks it was a sono in conjunction with a blood test. They pricked my finger and colored in dots on a page.

I just had my NT test last week. They took blood from my finger (it was a finger prick). The NT test was both internal and external. I think the Level II is just external and no blood. I will let you know in a few weeks!

I did my own blood (finger prick) and mailed it which is going to be combined with the results of the nt test which I have next week...

ok this sounds familar...only since doc did mention this is what they do now, in office.

I had blood drawn (not finger prick, actual blood drawn from vein) at 12 weeks and 16 weeks...had to go to a lab.
