Make-up fanatics--- COME IN PLEASE
So I got suckered into purchasing a Kabuki brush from the Bobbi Brown counter and I have NO IDEA what to do with it. What's it for? I went there asking for a brush to apply pressed powder with. Someone told me it gives a lighter, more natural look when you use a brush instead of a sponge...
Anyway, do I use the Kabuki brush for that??
For those of you who can't place the name of the brush with the actual image, here's a pic...
THANKS!!

you use it for loose powder and /or bronzer. Some people use loose powder instead of foundation in the summer. It is an awesome tool to have!

I have a similar brush to that. I used to for my (pressed) bronzer! I find it gives a more natural look!

I think it should be fine for pressed powder. It will distribute the powder nicely to your face.

Ahhh - that's the Kabuki brush that bare escentuals gives you. I use mine for the mineral veil, which is sort of the all over powder. It gives a nice finishing look. I LOOOOOVE mine.
How do u like it so far??

Re: Make-up fanatics--- COME IN PLEASE
Interesting! I might get one, b/c I'm not thrilled with the sponge-y thing in the BB pressed powder compact.

Re: Make-up fanatics--- COME IN PLEASE
I have the bare minerals one , almost identical and love it.
Its great for loose powder, all over face color or bronzer. Just remember its not really like a "regular" brush. You shuld be like swirling ( for lack of a better word) the powders on. And the brush is made for the powder to get INSIDE it so to speak and not on the tips of the brush, so always tap off any extra or you wont get the desired effect the brush should give.
yes , I know wayyy too much about this

Did you try it?
I was thinking about getting one. I use the Bare Minerals make-up and they sell one that's supposed to be "full coverage." They look pretty cool

I use bare minerals too and the kabuki brush doesnt work well for their foundation....mainly the warmth bronzer and the mineral veil which is kinda what its designed for. I use it for that and love it.
