makeup class at my local high school
Hi Everyone. I rarely wear makeup mostly because I don't know how to apply it properly. I have a ton of makeup because I am always buying it thinking I will change my mind. So I got in the mail yesterday the course catalog for the community education that is at the local high school. They have a class called About Face. You will learn the art of applying makeup from moderate to dramatic. It is 2 classes (1.5 hrs each) and costs $35 plus additional $15 for materials.
I am considering taking it. I am just wondering if it will be a waste and/or who will be in the class (age group)?

Totally worth it. I got a dvd a loooooooong time ago in an Estee Lauder gift thing... Learned how to apply eyeshadow and I've done it ever since.
They'll probably teach you contouring cheeks as well... Take it - you'll like it!!!

I'd go. It's not very expensive & if you are a complete novice, you will probably learn a thing or two.
I think you will probably get a mix of ages. There are plenty of adult women that don't wear makeup, but would like to learn.

I so need a class like that
I just bought blush last night for the first time since the prom...I am ok at eye shadow but pretty clueless otherwise
I go thru phases with make-up- I am trying to wear more now to look older and more put together

Its at North Shore High School, which is in like Glen Head/Sea Cliff area.

You can watch any kind of makeup tutorial on youtube I think the glass is great but if you don't have time and don't want to waste the money.. Youtube will teach you for free
