Making an offer

We found a pre-forclosure that we loved. Its priced way under market value, obviously. Do you think its still acceptable to offer less or take it for asking since its a steal?

Re: Making an offer

doesnt hurt to at least try for a lower price. worst they can do is say "no, we want full asking"...in which case it sounds like you're willing to go to full asking anyway.

I would not offer less than asking if it's already a steal. Pre-foreclosures are hard to come by in this area and if you found it then be sure that someone else has found it too.

The chances of you being outbid by offering less than asking for a steal of a deal are VERY high. And even in the time it takes to get a counter offer someone else could put in a higher offer and get the house.

Good luck!

By the way, how did you find itChat Icon Newspaper or did you go to the court house to research liensChat Icon Something elseChat Icon

My older brother found it for me. I'll ask him how he found it.
