Making oatmeal ahead of time

Can I do that? I like the non-instant kind, but I don't have the patience to wait 30 mins for it to cook every day. Can I make a few days worth at once, and keep it in the fridge?

I think that you might be better off making it and freezing in individual portions.

Trader Joes makes a steel cut frozen oatmeal and it tastes great. It goes right from freezer to microwave.
