making wide waist pants not so wide?
yeah - i know it sounds weird...
Em is really tall and REALLY skinny - she is 100% fine 'percentage wise' - she has been following her own growth curve and the ped is happy.
i am having a problem getting pants for her that fit.
for LENGTH - she needs 18 or 24 months (depending on the brand) - but for WIDTH - almost all 18 month pants fall down when she takes 3-4 steps. Ideally - a size 12 month pant is her waist, if not 9 months in some brands.
do they make tiny belts? i have never seen any....
does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the 18 or 24 month pants fit?? i tried folding over the waist, but it's not always enough (in most cases, they still fall down).
thanks!!!

A lot of 18m size pants have adjustable waist bands. I know Samantha has a few from kohls that have the adjusts on the inside if the waist

Re: making wide waist pants not so wide?
why not just take a needle and thread and just put a few stiches on each side of the waist band to cinch them a bit.

i'm not sure i have the talent. i can fix holes, but bringing something in - i'm not certain i can figure that out....
won't it effect the pant leg?

Osh Kosh has an elastic band inside the jeans that you can tighten - I usually end up putting them on the very first button hole.

Target has 2 brands with adjustable waists I can think of off the bat....Osh Kosh and also Cherokee. Both work for DS as he is tall & thin.
