Maltese/Shih Tzu
Hello,
I've been looking to get a maltese or shih tzu puppy, I live in Queens and honestly I don't really know any reputable breeders. A friend of my mom's recommended Petite Pets out in Huntington, I checked it out and it seemed to be a good place but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on where to get a puppy on Long Island.

Please do not buy a pet from a store.
Don't buy a dog, period.
I would set up a search on petfinder - there are so many rescue dogs in need of a home - I'm sure you will be able to find a Maltese or a Shih Tzu rescue.

I agree with looking to rescues. So many innocent animals are euthanized every day because people continue to shop for pets instead of electing to adopt.

Petfinder.com or adopt a pet.com you can search by breed age sex and location.
