Re: Maltipoo Breeders?
unfortunately, there is no such thing as a reputable malitpoo breeder. that's a cross breed and real breeders don't breed mixed breeds. I can recommend that malteses are wonderful dogs! if i were to actually get another dog, that was one of the top breeds I had in mind. they're wonderful lap dogs, very loving and aren't yappy or anything like alot of smaller dogs. just know that there is alot of upkeeping with grooming for them as well as any other long haired breed so you will have to take your dog to the groomer about every 8 weeks and brush it's hair about every day, every other day. they're great family dogs though. good luck!!

Are you looking for this breed because of allergies?

Re: Maltipoo Breeders?
Please understand the links posted above are not to reputable breeders.
Mixed breeds like the Maltipoo are not recognized breeds and an honest to goodness breeder will not breed a dog like that.
I would seriously advise against looking for such a "breeder" as they're most likely not legit.

Read this to figure out the difference between a miller and a reputable breeder.

Re: Maltipoo Breeders?
Additionally, MO is one of the leading regions for puppy mills. No true breeder breeds multiple breeds, nor mixed breeds (maltipoos). This place offers I think 4-5 different breeds as well as mixes. Additionally- if you notice, they will readily ship puppies as early as 8 weeks of age (the earliest it is allowed by law). NO reputable breeder would sell pups that early, nor ship without extensive contact with the buyer.
Sadly, as pretty as that web site is- the ugly truth is they ARE a puppy mill.

Re: Maltipoo Breeders?
You won't find a reputable breeder of maltipoo dogs. But you may find a similar mix at a shleter or through rescue. Would you consider those routes?

Actually, just read their health "guarantee", it guarantees on pretty much nothing. A true breeder would NEVER let you take a puppy with anything like Demodetic Mange, Pneumonia or any other diseases. They would address the problem there, and let you take the puppy after it was given a clean bill of health. Another way to tell a true breeder from a mill is their policy on breeding the puppies. A true breeder will make you have the dog fixed if it is not show quality, a mill doesn't care what you do with the dog once you have it.
We are close friends with a breeder (Borzois, Australian Shepherds), he and his wife spend huge amounts of time showing their dogs, breeding and placing their dogs and if any one of their pups has a problem, it is fixed and adopted out....not sold for profit.
