Re: Malverne School District

Try posting on the Home board but I do believe people have said that Lakeview is part of that district too.

Re: Malverne School District

MY DH graduated from there and he always said it was fine. Not the best but he got a decent education.

Re: Malverne School District

I don't know much..but if it means anything - my cousin just moved a couple miles away bec she wanted lynbrook SD and NOT Malverne (she sent her DD to Catholic school while in Malverne SD)

Re: Malverne School District

When we were looking around, Malverne was the school district that we wanted to avoid, mainly because Lakeview is also part of that district.

We ended up moving to Lynbrook which is rated for a really good school district. East Rockaway is also rated really good as well.

DH went to school in Malverne, and even said it wasn't the greatest experience, but we did find this site that helps rate school districts in Nassau County. Gives some really good information IMO.

Re: Malverne School District

I wouldn't. One of my good friends used to teach there - she wasn't a fan either.
