Mamaroo... If you have one, what do you think?

Does anyone have one? What do you think? Is it worth the $$$?

I have one. It's okay. I wish I had gotten a regular swing. My biggest complaint is that the planets that hang don't do anything so there is nothing to keep DS' attention while he's in it. I put him in someone's FP Snugabunny swing and he LOVED it. So to answer your question, no I do not think it is worth the money.

to me its amazing.. my dd will go it when she is tired and it put her to sleep. She also loves music and it attaches to ipod.

I had it and returned it. DD didn't seem to crazy about it. BBB told me that a lot of parents returned it because kids kept getting sick in it because of the motion.

I had it when DS was younger, after a week I returned it. He hated being in it, I could never see him sleeping in it either, we got the Little Lamb Swing instead and it was a life saver for us!

I have it. at first I was sooooo upset bc DS didn't like being in it as a NB. now that he's in the infant stage he likes it...but he also likes the second hand aquarium cradle swing my mom got for when we visited her in VA. he liked it so much she sent us home with it.

As for the mamaroo...I love that the mp3 player attaches to it....and with classical music on the baby would sleep for short periods of time. As much as I thought this was the coolest product ever...I'd have to say I think a less expensive, more cozy swing would prob be better. I'm still keeping mine since I have 3 levels in my home...I'll use the mamaroo in his soon to be play room.

I had it and returned it. For DS, it didn't move fast enough and he would cry every time we put him in it. We got him a regular swing and he liked that better (though he was never a baby that loves the swing). That being said, I know a few people who had them and their babies just slept in the mamaroo for the first few months of their lives.

We returned it..dd liked the fp swing a lot better and the swing was too narrow and she was a small baby and slide down constantly in it

We returned ours. Wasn't worth the money and the seat wasn't deep enough for my liking.

We purchased a graco 2 in 1. It's a swing and a bouncer in one. Dd LOVES it!!
