mama's around 30 weeks- how are you managing bending?

I'm almost 25w & starting to feel uncomfortable bending. Just trying to figure out when to tell my job (I file & bend all day) that it can no longer be done & I want to give them a significant amount of notice to.

How are you all doing around 30 weeks? Depending on how you currently feel bending some of the time, how would you feel that you'd manage doing it for 6 hours straight for half of the week?

Well, I dont have to bend all that much for my job, but in general when I am bending or have to bend I just try to do it quickly, or use my knees and squat instead of bending.

If talking about bending for filing, would sitting in a chair for the filing of files that are located in lower drawers, doable? That might ease things up a bit.

Bending started to really bother me around the same time 25-28w. I would not have been able to do it for 6 hours either. I only bend when I have to and after a few my back starts hurting and will continue to hurt for the rest of the day.

Try a chair or something you can rest on. If that doesn't help I'd tell your job. It's not worth hurting yourself overChat Icon

thanks, I think I'll try to manage until 30 weeks and unfortunately, a chair won't help until then since files run down to the floor :(
