Watchung man charged with videotaping kids in Land of Make Believe restroom, also faces gun charge

HOPE — A Watchung man was arrested for allegedly videotaping children in the restroom at the Land of Make Believe amusement park in Hope on Aug. 12 and for illegal possession of a .22 rifle on Aug. 15.
Patrick T. Deck of Lakeview Avenue, Watchung, was charged with three counts of invasion of privacy, a third-degree crime, punishable by up to five years in prison.
After the arrest in Hope, authorities obtained a warrant to search Deck's home, which turned up a Sears .22 rifle, said Warren County Prosecutor Richard T. Burke.
Deck was then charged with possession of a gun while being a person not allowed to have weapons, which is a second-degree crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Burke said Deck is prohibited from having a gun because of two prior convictions of endangering the welfare of a child.
Deck was out on $50,000 bail from the Land of Make Believe charges, but the weapon charge put him back in the Warren County jail with bail set for that offense at $100,000, full.
Burke said other charges may be forthcoming soon from Deck's actions in Somerset in Morris counties.
The investigation was conducted jointly by the State Police and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit with assistance from the State Police Missing Persons and Child Exploitation Unit, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the N.J. State Park Police, Florham Park Police Department and Watchung Police Department.

The report I saw on the news said they are going through 100's of tapes/videos that were found in his home
