Marathon 70 vs. Boulevard 70 Convertible Carseats - Car seat guy if you are out there pls. come in!
Is the only real difference b/w these the side impact protection? Is the extra side impact protection worth the extra money for the Boulevard or is it just a gimmick? Also, im thinking just spring for the extra $50 but, I think they guy that installed my DS's marathon years ago said that I shouldn't get the boulevard b/c it takes up too much space with two carseats making it less safe - but, i can't remember exactly. TIA!

I have one of these (forget which) and it takes up a LOT Of space. But it does have the side impact protection which I do like and hope is truly beneficial. I dont know if it's truly important or not but I went for it. But yes, it's huge. I have a truck but my DH cannot drive it b/c the car seat is behind my seat and he doesnt have enough room to push the seat back without hitting the car seat. I will look at which one I have later and let you know.
