Do you have trouble tightening and loosening the straps? I have the car seat installed so tightly that the car seat is pinning the straps against the seat of the car. It's near impossible to tighten or loosen them. I used to have the straps adjusted just right so that i didn't have to tighten them, but now with the bulky coats it would be easier to loosen the straps, get him buckled in, and then tighten them up. Anyone else have this problem?

I have the marathon and I haven't had any problem with adjusting. I do the same thing...loosen the straps, put him in and then tighten because he seems to always change position and never fit in the same way each time. I use that little silver clip below their feetChat Icon I don't think I am explaining that well...

Is your seat rear or forward facing? I have 2 Marathons, one in each position and have no problems with either if them. I'm trying to figure out what may be causing your problem.

Re: Marathon users

Is it getting caught on the black plastic cover (Im not sure what that piece is called) in the back of the seat? I've had that happen a few times and had to loosen it there and it usually does the trick.

ETA: I've only had the occasional problem with tightening, not loosening so Im not sure if its the same thing that is happening to you, but it's worth seeing if that's happening. bc if the seat is rear facing, Im not understanding how the tightness of the seat itself has anything to do with it...
