Market - Financial Question

To all of you financial gurus out there, given the recent tank in the market and talks of us entering in a recession, what would you do with your investments?

For 401(k) would you switch it to a more stable option for the time being? And with stocks/mutual funds, would you sell or leave everything as is and ride it out?

Thanks!

I don't know what to do either, so far we have been riding it out but it is killing my stomach. Sorry I have no advice.

We're keeping it in aggressive investments since we're not retiring in the near future and market corrections are cyclical.

We're leaving e/t where it is. We're not retiring for many, many years! Chat Icon It'll turnaround. As for our other personal investments, we're still leaving them where they are. Eventually it'll go back up. Buy low, sell high. Technically, now would be a good time to buy.

I agree. I think all these large drops are just corrections. I wouldon't be too concerned about any long term investments.

Me too. Trying to play day-trader with 401(k) or IRA investments is an almost guaranteed way of losing money..... I'm not good enough or diligent enough to try. For me, and most people, just letting it ride is the safest bet.
