Same crap, different store. (Same buyers for both stores.)

Re: Marshall's and TJ Maxx shoppers
I cant stand either store as a rule. I find them very disorganized, but if I had to pick one it would be Marshalls for clothing because I feel the store is slightly more organized but I'd choose TJ Maxx for home stuff.

I know, you can find some awesome stuff in both places but you have to be in the mood to search the disorganized racks and displays...

You have to spend your time in there. I like TJ's but I've found the same things in Marshalls for 2 bucks less

Re: Marshall's and TJ Maxx shoppers
I like the Filene's Basement in Manhasset the best...but if I had to choose a TJ's or Marshall's I would say the TJ's in Roslyn/Greenvale on Northern Blvd.

Yes and you do have to have patience shopping there but I think they do have some great buys.

Re: Marshall's and TJ Maxx shoppers
I've had a lot of luck at both stores. but if I had to choose, I would rather shop at TJ Maxx. I think the store is a lot better run and organized. and I seem to find more things both for the house and clothing at TJ Maxx

Re: Marshall's and TJ Maxx shoppers
I dont like to shop for clothes at either, btu everything else is great.
The Marshalls in West babylon now has a HUGE HUGE shoe dept with tons of designers .....
TJ Maxx seems to be cleaner to me....

Re: Marshall's and TJ Maxx shoppers
I like Tj maxx better but they are both GREAT- I always find alot of great deals on quality stuff. I rather shop there then at a lower quality store that is more organized ( like- mandees, charlette rouse etc) because of the name brands, I dont mind rummaging thru stuff when I have the time of course.

They are pretty much the same. I always see the same stuff at both stores. I like the Stony Brook Marshalls... they have a great home section.

Re: Marshall's and TJ Maxx shoppers
I haven't been to either in a while but decided to stop at the Marshalls in Freeport today and got a pair of black leather and suede Cole Haan mules for $25!! Now I think I'll hit those stores more often.
