mashed potatoes
Anyone give these to there kids? IF so how to you make them? I am lazy, I bought a box a them but some suggestions would be great for the next time.

I peel the potatos, then boil them, mash them up, and add butter, milk, salt and pepper. So easy, and Julia loves them.

we make them the same way.
When I am lazy I also buy the county crock mahed potatoes. They are pretty good too.

me too without the pepper but Antonio doesn't like them we do though.

I don't think there is anything wrong with using instant Shari -- especially when it's about getting them ready for the babysitters -- I'm all about convinience in that sense...
One thing to think about ... you can cut up brocolli, carrots, squish some peas, mix in some cheese...even small bits of shredded chicken to hide some nutritious stuff in there.
Also what about making mashed sweet potatoes?
