masturbation during pregnancy-a topic that came up at a play date!
So is masturbation during pregnancy really that common!? I was at a playdate for mommies pregnant with number 2 and this topic came up today and was shocked at the amount of woman who admitted they do this on a weekly/daily basis. I guess it's like having sex but I guess I rather just have sex. Anyone care to answer/share Info on this.

Not from personal experience but I can understand this happening if the DH was uncomfortable DTD while their wife was pregnant.

Guilty here but not daily and not every week. For some reason my DH gets to excited lately and by the time I'm about to climax, he's done. Other times he is so busy with his sports that I always end up going to bed earlier and there's no way I'm waiting for him.
My DH doesn't know and I can't believe I'm writing all this down.

prob a dumb question but it's safe durning pregnancy? Like I said I know sex is safe but using a "toy" on yourself while pregnant makes me think otherwise. I'll admit I've done it before but not pregnant. I'm honestly scared I'll hurt the baby

Just saying I don't think its anything for anyone to be embarrassed about. Most people do it. Along with or aside from sex.
In fact, I think it's absolutely healthy to do... a good stress reliever, especially if you aren't necessarily in the mood for sex or if your DH doesn't feel right about having sex, etc.
Obviously we're not your doctor... but if they're really better during pregnancy then I have every intention of taking advantage. By whatever means necessary.

Ive never used a toy while iw as pregnant... recently i get really uncomfortable, it seems to bring on additional BH when i have an orgasm so masturbating/sex is not something i enjoy at this point...
