I was at the stores yesterday looking for a dress myself. Motherhood in hicksville had a ton of nice black dresses. Liz lange in greenvale had a few not worth the trip IMO. Maternity works in the source had some but not as many as the broadway mall.

I got this dress in Old Navy in Hicksville for a wedding a few weeks ago - sorry too nervous to post a face shot!
ETA: It ties in the back - so it conforms nice to your body and was very comfy and cheap - I think $20 or $30 bucks!

How big are you? For my parents wedding last year I wore this dress from Banana. I was 20 weeks and just tried it on in a larger size than what I was and it worked out great so I wouldnt limit yourself to only maternity. The babystyle/empire waist style is everywhere. I also wore this dress at 24 weeks and I gained some more weight at that point. (the second pic is around 20 weeks to give you a better idea of the size of my belly) Image Attachment(s):
