Re: Maternity Clothes
Gap has some really nice maternity stuff and so does Old Navy. If you can find a gap outlet that has a maternity section, it's GREAT! Also, I purchased a lot of my gap maternity clothes on Ebay. There are quite a few sellers that sell new maternity clothes...

Re: Maternity Clothes
There is an awesome store in Huntington on rte. 110 called Destination Maternity, they carry Motherhood, Pea in a Pod and Mimi, of course there is all price ranges. Motherhood is the least expensive of the 3 and they had a HUGE selection of clothes. I now have a bigger wardrobe for maternity than my summer and winter clothes put together.

Re: Maternity Clothes
i spend over $200 there this past weekend and bought shorts and some tank tops. Has anyone been to Kohls for maternity? I went to target and thought the styles were very old ladyish. I need a good clearance store.

I went to a place called Motherhood in Elwood / Commack area. They had a nice selection and they weren't overly expensive.

I got some of my stuff from Kohl's also, but they didnt really have a huge selection, got some shorts and t shirts, thats about it. Maybe it was just the store by me though. It's worth a shot though.

Re: Maternity Clothes
It's in Suffolk County. If you take Northern State to Commack Road. Take Commack Road to Jericho Turnpike. Make a left on Jericho Turnpike and the maternity store is on the left hand side in the Pathmark shopping center. It's just east of Old Navy & Home Depot. I believe the store is called Motherhood Maternity or something like that.

Re: Maternity Clothes
It depends on what Kohls or Target you go to. I went to the Target in Commack and they had an ok selection of clothes and I had to drive out to Rocky Point (about 20 minutes from where I live) and that Kohls had a nice selection of Maternity clothes.

This store closed when the one on Route 110 opened. I live in Commack and went by to check it out for one of my friends a month ago.

That store closed as well as the one in the Walt Whitman Mall.....they combined them into Destination Maternity that is now located on Route 110 across from the mall.

Re: Maternity Clothes
Try H&M. I just bought my sister some maternity clothes from there. The shirts I got her were between $10-$20.

I was there last weekend I think..and they had a huge amount of clearance maternity clothes and sales on what they had! They had sweatsuits, terry ones for $20, ($10 for pants) ..they had tee shirts 2 for $12!! You;ll be able to get some staples for sure.

Re: Maternity Clothes
I always shopped the source mall or the city. In the source, you had Old Navy, H&M, and the Motherhood combo store.
In the city - I went on 34th street. You have 2 h&M's, Old Navy, Gap Maternity, and Motherhood all in two blocks. And Macys- Pea in the Pod - expensive but they do have a sale section.

I noticed this as well. I bought a whole bunch of stuff that was for "the 2nd and 3rd trimesters" and I outgrew it within a month and I haven't even gotten that big!
The Kohl's I went to had a pretty decent selection and I've actually gotten some stuff off of Ebay. You can get a lot of maternity clothes (new with tags) for a very good price.
