Maternity clothes shopping disaster!
So, I know I am a plus sized lady, but shopping is so hard!!!! I went to Motherhood and got some cute things yesterday but I still need pants! Unless my principal will let me come to school partially naked!!!
I don't have particuarly heavy legs but OMG, the legs on these pants were so skinny it was ridiculous!
Any suggestions? I looked on JCpenny and am going to buy a few things there!

Re: Maternity clothes shopping disaster!
Old Navy Maternity sizes run pretty big, you might have luck there. They have some good stuff at the one in the Source Mall

Re: Maternity clothes shopping disaster!
Old navy if you need XXL doesn't carry it in their stores only online (well they carry some tops just not bottoms)
I would check out Lane Bryant online has maternity they are a little more expensive $40-50 - but I bought two pairs of blank pants and had a coupon and they are machine washable and held up better than any of the $20-30 pairs I got from anywhere else. If you are going to wear them for a while I would just buy one or two pairs and wash them.

Re: Maternity clothes shopping disaster!
I got a really nice pair of black dress pants from the gap on line. A little pricey but I love them. And a Old navy online is good too.

Re: Maternity clothes shopping disaster!
I hear you!!! I was so mad when I left Motherhood-what's with only having two or three rows of clothes when the rest of the store is regular sizes? I wound up stuff from Lane Bryant maternity, thank goodness for them. My black dress pants are a godsend and so are my jeans and a few tee-shirts. I know what you mean about the legs though-I do carry more of my weight in my thighs unfortunately and pants are hard

Re: Maternity clothes shopping disaster!
pants are SO frustrating - i need petite lengths which is almost impossible to find in stores. i bought a cropped pant from Motherhood and 1 pair of black work slacks from Mimi (they were about $70 but the quality is nice) i'm just sick of wearing black pants to work. now that its warmer skirts should be easier
i figured i could try to get away with some reg. tops in the empire/babydoll style that's in now but my prob is they are not cut for shorter people so they hit right on my thigh and i look stumpy, frumpy and gross!!! i was SOO upset about this today because i had NOTHING to wear and have officially outgrown my reg. jeans
