Maternity consignment shops?

Anyone know of any good ones around? I hate to spend a lot of $$$$ on maternity clothes I am not going to be wearing for (hopefully!) very long. I live on the border of Nassau/Suffolk on the South Shore. I will probably be the same way about baby clothes when he/she comes along. TIA!

I haven't heard of any but I did get a pre-owned maternity coat off of e-bay and Target also has some great maternity deals and Old Navy. Also, you may want to contact a local church and see if they have anything. Many churches have small consignment shops, and though my church doesn't have one, they do ask for donated maternity clothes some of which may end up at a sister church's consigment shop.

i was the same way. most of my clothes came from my bosses wife and the rest i got at target. i think target is the best place for maternity clothes.

I saw quite a few pairs of Maternity Jeans on clearance at Target, 75% off. They have cute stuff there, I bought a lot when I was pregnant there and at Old Navy.

All Goodwill Stores have a maternity department. Some good stuff, some very dated items. honestly, between Old Navy, Gap, Motherhood, The outlets & target, you can totally find cheap maternity stuff. For my birthday my mom got me 3 2 piece outfits at Motherhood for $65, not too shabby.
