Materntiy Clothes and WORK
So Im at a point where I refuse to purchase more clothes since Im 10wks away...getting bigger by the minute and getting uncomfortable!
I work in a business casual place but today Im in JEANS! Luckily I work for a boss who is understanding but I cant wear the work pants anymore....they are killing my belly

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
My twin belly only fits into about three pairs of pants and maybe four shirts.
I wasn't plus sized pre-preggo but now they are the only maternity clothes that fit around my tummy.
So I do a lot of laundry.
I'm sure everyone will understand. You are near the end and not expected to be at the height of fashion

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
I'm sure you are totally fine. I had a friend here at work who towards the end of her pregnancy came into work in sweatpants and flip flops- we are business casual here- but she didnt care- and neither did anyone else!

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
I know how you feel. I only fit into 2, maybe 3 pairs of my maternity pants and 1 of those is jeans which we are not allowed to wear to work. I have on jeans today. It is too bad. I am due in 6 weeks, I am big, swollen, uncomfortable and not buying anymore maternity clothes either.

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
I only have about 3-4 pairs of work pants - and I just rotate them... Most of them have elastic waist bands, and 2 pairs are black, so I wear them almost everyday... I have a few suits that I wear for work as well...

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
When I had my first I wore whatever I wanted since my workplace was business casual. I did have a bunch of slacks and dress shirts since I had a lot of client interaction and presentations. Everyone pretty much understood and didn't care when I was in jeans and sneakers every day towards the end. I was waddling by then. One of my co-workers was preggo during the summer months and she wore flip flops with her business clothes since her feet were like tree trunks.

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
I hear what you are saying. I can see my maternity pants getting really uncomfortable as the weeks go on. I'm starting to buy more stretchy-type pants for when I'm home on maternity leave. I wish I could wear them to work!

Re: Materntiy Clothes and WORK
Deb,,,,go buy a pair of black and tan pair of pants to get you thorugh the next 10 weeks...Even thought 10 weeks seems so close,,that iss alot of days for you to be wearing jeans to work everyday (j/k)
If you dont want to spend $$, check out target! They probably have the winter items on clearance
