Mattress pad or not....
We put the crib together this weekend and yesterday I put on the bedding. With the mattress pad, it seems that the sheets don't fit as tight. Considering the mattress has a vinyl-like covering, do I really need a mattress pad?
Such things to think about. Now that I'm done with work and school, I have too much to worry about.....

It's really important to have the sheet fit right. If you are worried about the fit, try a sheet saver instead .... it will go on top of your sheets instead of underneath like a mattress pad...

I think that you have to go with your gut on this...if the sheet doesn't seem to fit right because of the mattress pad then maybe using the pads that was posted above is a good alternative...that actually would save the sheet too so it might work out better.

I was wondering this also and everyone at work told me it wasn't necessary. You can also use those quilted lap pads to put under or over in strategically placed spots like where the baby drools/spits up and down by the diaper.

Def skip the pad if the sheet isn't fitting right.
Pick up the ultimate crib sheet. It's snaps on the crib rails, lies on top of the sheet and has a rubber backing. When it gets soiled just unsnap, put a new one on. NO need to remove sheets, bumpers etc...
I LOVE THEM!!! Just don't put them in the dryer!
