Mattress recommendations please
We desperately need a new queen size mattress.
There are loads of sales this weekend, so we're hoping to take advantage of one of them.
I have a herniated disk in my back and neck so I'd love a temperpedic but they are $$$. The Sealy Posturpedic seems to have decent sale prices....is it similar to the temper? Also Costco has the Novaform foam mattresses, but there are like 8 different models.....which one is best?
Any advice here is much appreciated, especially from my back

Thanks Stacey....I actually did, but they must be busy with the holiday weekend and all. I figured I could do the research but it's pretty overwhelming with so many options
All I know is I need something that will stop the back pain

I recently had back surgery. Before that, I spent 8 excruciating months while pregnant with a ruptured disc in my back. I had no idea that my bed was actually aggravating things.
We couldn't afford a Tempur Pedic either...but we actually wound up financing one because my neurosurgeon told me that no other beds even come close, especially for someone with a bad back.
I can't even begin to emphasize how AMAZING this bed is. I am well-rested and never in pain when I wake up. But to emphasize the point--my DH and I are visiting family in CA right now, and I'm sleeping on the best bed in the house, a pretty firm spring mattress. I woke up today in SO much pain that I downed 3 Advil to try to feel normal again.
They are definitely , but completely worth every single penny. We should have ours paid off within the year, and there's a 20 year warranty against sagging, so we know it was a good investment.
Best of luck--I never thought of a mattress as being an investment until my back problems began!
