may as well ask here...blonde hair..
i have dark/medium brown hair. ive gotten highlights in the past in various levels..sometimes lots sometimes a little..
BUT, i want my hair blonde. where i can dye my roots as it grows in, rather than adding highlights to highlights and so on..
theres a pic of jessica simpson on the celeb board in a red jacket i think..this is what i want.
my girl does highlights but i dont think she can color it the blonde i want.
anyone know where i can get this done well? anyone do this? can i see pics?

I think I probably have the same color hair as you. I get highlights as well..(blonde). My hair dresser told me I would have to dye my base color and then do highlights on top of that for that Jessica Simpson BLONDE look...I desperately wanted it but it sounded too involved. He also said I would have to go like every 3 weeks for a touch up

Ya know, Kathleen, I never told you but I think you have the BEST hi-lights, both in your wedding pics and anytime I have seen you!!!!!
Anyway, to the OP, if your hairdresser does hi-lights, why can't he/she do a single process color for you? I am sure that my salon, Meridian, can do it.

(you can see how dark it is in my pic)
I would go to someone that specialized in that
I know a few salons in the city that do it- but the cost is $$$$$$$

I used to have Jessica Simpson blond hair. I had my entire head lifted by a single process and then hilights over that at my regular hair salon. I then went every 4 weeks for a touch up. It was very time consuming and expensive, but at the time I loved it.

my natural color is black....
so its ALOT of work....
my base is a honeyblonde golden and then I get white plat highlights. my color is almost exact to jessica simpsons..
