May be a stupid question -- dog bite
This morning as I'm walking Maddy she picked up a piece of bone off the street (ew.) I tried to get her to spit it out and stuck my hand in her mouth to grab it out...and she bit me (not in reaction to taking the bone) but b/c I shoved my finger in the back of her mouth to get it out, she didn't realize my finger was there.
She broke skin (two small holes on each side of my index finger) and there's a little bit of blood. When I got home, I put some peroxide on it, and wrapped it with a bandaid. Do I need to do anything else? I don't need to get a shot or anything right?
I told you it may be a stupid question...

My understanding is that so long as she has been vaccinated this year for rabies, you're good. (For older dogs, they may get the vaccine that's good for upto 3 years, but if she's a puppy, then it's still every year).

She is vaccinated and up to date so I'm good to go.
Thanks so much love!
