May be a stupid question.. oven cleaning related...
What other cleaning products can you clean your oven with besides the usual "oven cleaning" ones, ex: easy off, etc.
I just tried to make cookies and my oven smoked out the WHOLE house because of some grease spilled on the bottom and I don't have any regular oven cleaning products, but don't want to clean it with something that may be considered unsafe to use in the oven.
And... i REALLY want my Tollhouse cookies!!!

I always use my self cleaning oven feature... It takes 3-4 hours and all I have to do is wipe out the ash inside when its done.
I also had some grease splatters on the glass door in the inside, and I used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it worked great.

Re: May be a stupid question.. oven cleaning related...
I have had the same thing happen this past weekend...we set it on self clean, left the house for 4 hours, came home, DH opened up all the windows while I was outside playing with our DD....but it still wasnt fully clean....so now I have to go out tomorrow to get some reg oven cleaner as we have guests arriving on wednesday and its still smoking
So your problem may not be resolved by just setting the oven on self clean and you may end up spot cleaning afterward also.
Be careful with the self clean as you are pregnant and the fumes are really strong..so make sure someone else can open up the windows and air out the house for you before you come back.

Hey now!! No one stands in the way of this preggo and her Tollhouse!
I cleaned it with dishwashing soap and some warm water and it did the trick.... but then you-know-who comes home and puts on the self cleaner and I'm like... can you smell the fumes!?!? He has no clue So we shut it off.
