May I vent here?
Well not really a vent -- today we went to a christening -- DH's best friend had a baby in July and the Christening was today. Most of these peopel are DH's ex-coworkers and I haven't seen then since we tailgated in April for Mets opening game -- I wasn't drinking and everyone wanted to know why - I was pg. So, today they all looked at my belly when I saw them - I was due fist week of December. Obviously, although I am chubby, I am not pg.
It was so hard -- I should have been one of the expectant women there - and we aren't, not at all. I hate my OB right now, I blame it all on him.... We should have tested long ago and gotten aggressive. It was just so hard to see everyone with their beautiful babies...and me, with nothing.... DH felt it too....

Kara - I am so sorry, it seems that feeling never goes away for any of us. At least not until we get our own baby.

I know how you feel, and so sorry that you are feeling this.
On Thanksgiving, it was so hard for me, standing there holding a beer with a flat tummy, I would have been 12 weeks by now.

I am sorry Kara ! I know that horrible feeling of when they look at your belly. The women at my job would do it all the time. Some would even approach me and ask "are you pregnant". I don't miss that. However, you are taking the right steps and I hope your little one arrives soon so that, at your next 'tailgate' party....they can look and feel that belly all they want !

I'm really sorry Kara. I totally understand how you feel. ILast year, I started to miscarry over Thanksgiving weekend. This year, I totally felt the emptiness not hab=ving my baby at Thanksgiving dinner.
