My friend is watching her own dd and a friends ds and the babies are a day apart. i want to give her my sit and stand elite from one step ahead but not sure if you can put a baby of that age in a carriage with out a carrier? Dio they make things to keep the head straight? Also i would hate for her to buy a double carriage when in a few months i know they willbe able to use this. TIA

Yes, you can. They should have the head support.
The only reason the carrier snaps into the stoller is to make it easier when shopping, etc.

yes, depends on the stroller though and the size of your infant.
we have the uppababy vista and DS has been in the "toddler" seat since 2 months

It depends on the stroller. Some strollers aren't recommended for under 6 months. Check the stroller manual.

DD is 2m
I put her in the stroller part if I wantto sit outside with her or go around the block BUT for anything more I use the infant carrier.
I find that if I have to get the stroller up on a curb or its hilly or bumpy, the stroller part is not enough support for her.
