Maybe dumb questions about setting up CD3 bloodwork
So, I think you can get CD3 bloodwork done at the obgyn and that you don't need an RE for that...is that right?
I'm going to be switching to a new obyn practice. Do you think I can just make an apptmt for the CD3 bloodwork as my first appointment with them? Or would they want to see me for a regular exam first?
(Or do you go directly to a lab for CD3 testing?)
I hope these questions aren't too dumb
For some reason, trying to set this up is making me really nervous! I thought getting some info first would give me the courage to call the new obgyn office.
TIA for feedback!
And for everyone!

My OB/Gyn gave me the script and I went to a lab to have it done (this morning actually). You don't need to see an RE for it.

I did it through my ob/gyn...
I would do it through your current one and you can always bring the results to your new one... (unless you are switching because of a problem with your current ob/gyn)

I went through the exact same situation! I switched my OBGYN and on the very first appointment with the new doctor I asked her for prescriptions to get all the basic fertility work up done. It saved me time Good luck with all your tests!

you should call the new dr and find out if they draw the blood or if you have to go to a lab. if you have to go to a lab they will prob right you a prescription for it.
