Maybe TMI..nipples...
My nipples are still SO sore and now they are so dry they are cracking! They look all chapped! I can't even let the towel touch them after I shower!
What can I do?

OMG, mine are too!! I put Palmers Cocoa butter lotion on them the all over body stretch mark kind. I totally grew out of my bras, so chafing is an issue, I try to wear bra tops, or sports bras on the weekend so those puppies are tight not moving around so much.
It's helped a bit, but they are still on fire!

Re: Maybe TMI..nipples...
When my sister delivered, they gave her Aquaphor samples in case her nipples got cracked and sore. You can get it Duane Reade- maybe Rite Aid/ CVS also.
And BTW- this is a pregnancy board- no such thing as TMI

I second Aquaphor or old school vaseline.

Re: Maybe TMI..nipples...
I had that problem too and I used lansinoh brand lanolin---it worked wonders instantly!!
Also, make sure you do not wash them with soap--as it dries them out--water is just fine!

Re: Maybe TMI..nipples...
mine haven't gotten that bad, but there are days I notice that they are cracked more than normal....I jsut put some lotion on. You can also use the lanolin you'll use when breastfeeding

Re: Maybe TMI..nipples...
You should definately try lansinoh cream. It works really well and it's technically the only "approved" thing for your nipples when you are breastfeeding -- which you aren't yet -- but it's still the safest thing to use.

Re: Maybe TMI..nipples...
I had a similar problem...my nipples were never really sore...but, they were definitely dry and cracked...I would take off my bra sometimes and see white flakes.
I just put lotion on them whenever they needed it. Problem cleared up rather quickly.
