DS freaks out whenever I have my hair up-
I mean sometimes even cries for me to take my hair down...
WTH???

Sounds kind of familiar! Matteo was crying for me to take my hood off yesterday when we were outside. I think maybe they think we look different and want to see us look like we're supposed to! Oh, he also doesn't like when Grandma wears her glasses. I guess the same thing, she looks different b/c he is fine when she takes them off!

I think it's a comfort thing. My 4 year old get's upset when I straighten my hair. He tells me he likes it 'wrinkly" (curly). He's used to your long flowing locks!

My kids are the same way.. they are used to seeing me with it thrown back in a pony tail.. 99% of the time thats how it is.. If I wear it down.. addy crys, Mal asks me why my hair is "silly" and Jordan gives me strange looks

My BF's son does this - I think he has told her that he doesn't like it because she's not REALLY his mommy with her hair like that. She almost never wears it up, so I guess that is why he doesn't like it.
