Meeting with Contractor's - What to Ask?
We're meeting with 3 Contractor's tomorrow about gutting our (soon to be) average-sized bathroom. We'd like the work done in a week...and we know about 95% of what we want.
When meeting with Contractor's, what do you need to ask? What do you need to know?

If they do the job - make sure you get a photo copy of their license and insurance - and don't let them work without giving you one.

do they put tile backer board in the tub area??
removal of garbage due they have a dumpster or do you have to get 1?
things to watch..if given a flat price does that include genric sink,countertop,fixtures...or do you have an allowance as far as how much to spend on fixtures and tile etc...

ask who will doing the work..sometimes you pay one person and then he subs it out to someone else- that really bothers me
