Sorta like a corn muffin in texture --- but not as grainy and sweeter...
crunchy top ....
and SOOOOO good with butter on them while they are hot!

My DH likes them too --- it's about the only baked good I can get him to eat.
He doesn't like stuff that's too sweet or has chips,nuts,fruit in them....so they are just simple and perfect for him.
