Menstrual Cycle for Dummies (like me)
I feel like a total idiot for even asking this, but apparently I didn't pay attention to Health class in school....
Can someone (in dumb person's terms) please explain when you can and cannot get pregnant during your cycle? I am seriously dumb when it comes to this stuff. There was no planning for baby #1 but I need to plan for baby #2 (not anytime soon though - don't worry!)

I would definitely get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It can help explain as well as help you get pregnant or prevent one! I think someone on the TTC board is getting rid of theirs-FM her!

The best time is during ovulation. For a 28 day cycle you would usually ovulate around day 14. If you want to time your next pregnancy you can get an ovulation kit so you know exactly when you are ovulating.
