Menu Ideas for 1st birthday party
We're having about 20 adults and 10 children for a small party for DS's 1st birthday. I'd like to save some money and cook myself. What are some easy dishes I can make in bulk and freeze ahead of time?

I just had DS 2nd birthday a couple months back. I made 2 pans of baked ziti, a pan of meatballs and we also bought cold cuts, rolls and salads.
Actually all I had to worry about was the ziti-----my sister offered to make the meatballs and my mom picked up the cold cuts and salads. What a simple day and much cheaper than a restaurant!!!

Easy for a party are:
Lasagna
Baked ziti
penne alla vodka
chicken parm
a large sliced roast beef, gravy and mashed potatoes
cold cut platter
mini mozzarella ball salad
a large salad
chips and dip
