Metro North Service Suspended
BREAKING NEWS
A major disruption on Metro North after a van fell onto the tracks on East 233rd and Webster Avenue. There is no service on the Harlem and New Haven lines right now in that area.
Pulled this of the CBS website.

Re: Metro North Service Suspended
Wow-Thanks. I hadn't heard that yet.
This is odd, but I vaguely rember that happening previously, possibily at the same spot. Maybe 2 years ago?

Re: Metro North Service Suspended
Weird--I dont' see a service advisor on the MNR page & there has been no mention of it on the radio or on the NY Journal News site.
Maybe it's been fixed?

Re: Metro North Service Suspended
Thanks (not that I didn't believe you) --I'm surprised it's not on the Metro North site--they are usually pretty quick with stuff like that.

Re: Metro North Service Suspended
Maybe the Metro North service advisories are always a little delayed... but you never realize it because you never had an instance where another company (like a news company) put the same story out.
I would think a news carrier would act much quicker in something like this than a transit website.
